As an intern-level therapist currently pursuing my master's in Counseling Psychology from the University of Yorkville, my journey began in September 2022 after completing my bachelor's degree in Science from the University of Calgary. My academic background has instilled in me a rigorous analytical approach, which I actively integrate into my therapeutic work.
My passion lies in aiding immigrants, teenagers, and young adults adapting to new environments, drawn from real-world experience and a deep empathetic nature.
In my practice, I employ a diverse range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. This eclectic approach allows me to tailor interventions to the unique needs of each client, empowering them to explore their narratives, uncover strengths, and navigate emotional landscapes with resilience.
With dedication to holistic healing and unwavering compassion, I embark on my journey as a counselor, aiming to be welcoming and supportive of every individual's needs.

I am a life long student of religion and spirituality. I have a degree in International Relations and an MA in Religious Studies. I am in the last stage of my MA in Counseling and Clinical Mental Health.
My mentoring and counseling approach is based on Evidence Based best practices and also Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy. I believe that all our clients have God given skills, assets, and capabilities that they are supposed to develop. Every situation, whether good or bad, is an opportunity to use our skills or to discover them and become empowered.
