    Overview

    The Lartey Wellness Group is a counseling and life coaching professional services organization that helps families, couples, and individuals obtain a balance of the mind, body and soul to reach an overall feeling of well-being.

    Requirements (Please Read Very Important!!!)

    • Must be able to complete a paid 4-hour online training course by Thursday, August 8th, 2024

    • Must be able to complete fingerprinting by Thursday, August 8th, 2024

    • Must be able to attend a live online training class on Thursday, August 8th, 2024 from 4pm-6pm ET

    • Must have availability Monday through Friday, 4pm-8pm, and Saturdays. Weekend hours are flexible between 11am and 6pm.

    • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to various counties: Howard County, Prince George, Montgomery, and Frederick County, Baltimore County, and Baltimore City

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Works primarily with female clients ages (5-18 yrs) to mentor on regaining self-image, anger management, communication, and socialization skills. You will have some adult female clients as well.

    • For minor clients (ages 5-17) must conduct 3 in person sessions with the client per month. One session is conducted at our laurel office. Must conduct all 3 sessions within the month to get paid.

    • For adult clients (ages 18+) must conduct 6 in-person sessions with the client per month. One session is conducted at our laurel office. Must conduct all 6 sessions within the month to get paid.

    • One of the sessions has to be 1-hour long. The other sessions can be between 30-45mins

    • Notes must be submitted 24 hours after the client encounter

    • Utilize deliberate and consistent skills training which typically includes staff demonstration, working side by side, facilitating groups, client practice/roleplaying and staff feedback, as well as prompting and cues

    • Works directly with the client to help them identify their goals, find resources to help them grow, and help their clients take necessary steps to reach their goals.

    • Drive the client to doctor's appointments, library, run errands and other places that client needs to go.

    • Attends scheduled case conferences and identifies and interprets psychosocial needs of consumers for inclusion in the case plan.

    • Completes required clinical documentation within timelines established by applicable regulations and policies.

    Compensation & work hours

    • Part time: $25/session

    • $25 gas allowance per client

    • $200 for training

    • Monday - Friday: 4pm-8pm

    • Weekends: Flexible

    Requirements

    • Must hold a therapist license in your state (LPC, LCSW, or Psychologist)

    • Must be able to practice independently without supervision

    • Will be required to apply for your state’s Medicaid provider credentialing as well as private insurance provider credentialing (United Health Care, Blue Cross/ Blue Shield, Cigna, Etc). We have an in-house credentialing expert to assist with all insurance credentialing.

    • Will be required to complete a paid ($200) 10 hour training. 8-hour self pace online as well as 2 one-hour virtual training courses within 1 week of on-boarding.

    • Fully paid Gottman Level 1 Theory for Couples Therapy Course, reimbursable 3 months after working with LWG.

    • Potential to progress to full-time employment

    • Work hours 3pm-8pm Mon- Friday and some weekends. Can start after 5pm on weekdays as well.

    • Weekend hours if needed (10am-1pm). Depends on client demand.

    • Will be required to conduct a criminal background check

    • Must be comfortable working with children and adolescents ages 5 and upwards

    • Must complete clinical documentation within 24hr of the encounter

    • Management of work processes along with strong computer skills for documentation purposes.

    • Ability to maintain confidential information within HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies.

    • Provide clinically appropriate treatment based on mental health assessment and treatment plans.

    • Complete timely and accurate documentation. Meet audited tested requirements.

    • Assure continuous reimbursable sessions for assigned clients.

    • Fully participate in staff development opportunities offered to enhance professional growth, especially to maintain license, certification, or identified program performance skills.

    We are currently expanding our services in Puerto Rico and are looking for fully licensed therapists who want to join our amazing team. We currently have staff in Maryland, Virginia, DC, Florida, New York, Canada, Venezuela, Jamacia, Africa, and Asia.

    Requirements

    • Hold a therapist license in Puerto Rico (LPC, LCSW, or Psychologist)

    • Must be able to practice independently without supervision

    • Will be required to apply for Puerto Rico Medicaid provider credentialing

    • Will be required to apply for private insurance provider credentialing (United Health Care, Blue Cross/ Blue Shield, Cigna, Etc). We have an in-house credentialing expert to assist with commercial insurance credentialing.

    • Will be required to complete a paid ($200) 4-hour self pace online company training course within 1 week of on-boarding.

    • Potential to progress to full-time employment

    • Work hours 3pm-8pm Mon- Friday and some weekends.

    • Will be required to conduct a criminal background check

    • Must be comfortable working with children and adolescents upwards

    • Must complete clinical documentation within 24hr of the encounter

    • Management of work processes along with strong computer skills for documentation purposes.

    • Ability to maintain confidential information within HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • In-person and some remote.

    • Implements and maintains the Integrated Behavioral Health program's philosophy, principles, and procedures in all facets of performance.

    • Provide services and conduct self in a manner consistent with the professional Code of Ethics.

    • Assess or provide therapy, counseling, intervention and/or education to clients in a professional manner.

    • Provide clinically appropriate treatment based on mental health assessment and treatment plans.

    • Complete timely and accurate documentation. Meet audited tested requirements.

    • Assure continuous reimbursable sessions for assigned clients.

    • Fully participate in staff development opportunities offered to enhance professional growth, especially to maintain license, certification, or identified program performance skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop a comprehensive social history and psychosocial assessment that includes the client’s problems, strengths, and preferences; including cultural, religious, and ethnic background and implications for the treatment plan.

    • Involves consumers and families in treatment planning, encouraging their attendance at case conferences or with outside providers/professionals.

    • Attends scheduled case conferences and identifies and interprets psychosocial needs of consumers for inclusion in the case plan.

    • Completes required clinical documentation within timelines established by applicable regulations and policies.

    • Ensure the timely completion of initial and concurrent Individualized Treatment Plans in collaboration with the consumer and identified supportive persons.

    We are currently expanding to Virginia and need fully licensed independent therapists across the US who are willing to obtain a license in Virginia or are currently already licensed in Virginia. Don't currently hold a Virginia license, no worries. As long as you are willing to obtain a license as a " Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) we want to hire you. We will reimburse the cost of licensure after 3 months of employment. After licensure, you will need to empanel with Virginia Medicaid. This takes about 1 week. Why would you get licensed in Virginia? This role is ideal for a fully licensed mental health professional who is seeking remote work and would like to make $75/ session. Please note that you must be able to practice mental health fully independently. No provisionally licensed individuals who need supervision.
